Stop Self Sabotage - Stop Hurting Yourself with Food
Everyone struggles from time to time on any Weight Loss plan! Everyone gets off track and messes up! If your Human this will happen to you.. So... the most important thing that has helped me lose over 100 pounds is to get back on track immediately!!!
If you get a scratch on your new car do you take a hammer to it and finish it off?? No!! you get the little scratch fixed and move on!!
BREAK the habit of saying "Oh I messed up the whole day now I might as well keep eating" For example... I went to a Dinner and planned on staying on my program but there were so many delicious desserts, macaroni and cheese, macaroni salads, you name it, it was there... So I started off with a small plate of just a few things I liked. I felt satisfied but I WANTED more... so I went back and just started eating whatever I wanted. Macaroni and Cheese, Baked Beans, Cheesecake, and I ate it so fast I didn't even remember what else I ate to even track it!
I was literally so full and feeling sick it felt like I woke up out of a dream and realized what I was doing and said "Oh no what have I done???!!?" Then I felt upset, sad, mad, fat and OUT OF CONTROL because I was eating like (what I call) a Pig on Wheels!!
A few hours later I thought.... Hmmm, I already cheated today so I might as well go eat more before the day is over. I went down to the fridge opened the door and looked at the food and realized "I am ONLY hurting myself if I eat more.. I've already consumed probably 2000 calories more than I should have..
Why do I want to add more? Why am I torturing myself with stupid food!?! It's JUST FOOD!! I then realized I was not helping myself by eating more but I was hurting myself. If you look at it that way it will help you in those moments when you want to over eat!
If I was strong enough to just say no that would have been one thing but "that day" in particular I just wasn't... and some days its just harder than others! So...I got back ON TRACK, grabbed some fruit and went to bed. When I got up the next morning I weighed myself and I was only up 1 pound! By the next next that pound was GONE plus a few ounces! Such an important thing for anyone who is struggling and trying to lose weight is to GET BACK ON TRACK and your weight loss will continue!! Did something similar happen to you? What did you do? Huge TACO WRAP Mix with a twist! ZERO points
Ingredients:
16 to 20 oz of 99% fat free ground turkey
One medium onion diced
1 1/2 cups cubed sweet potatoes (cooked)
One cup of frozen organic corn
One can organic black beans drained and rinsed,
One pack of taco seasoning,
1/4 cup of water
One 8 oz container Greek plain nonfat yogurt
1 to 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
2 teaspoons of garlic powder
Half a teaspoon of cumin powder
1 teaspoon oregano
Instructions:
In a large to medium size pot, spray with canola spray and cook onions until translucent
Add Ground turkey and cook until brown
Add all other ingredients except for topping
Topping:
Mix together plain yogurt, lemon juice, and cumin
This made 7 (1 Cup) Servings - 1 Point per cup
Add to a large wrap or over rice
Enjoy!

New Recipe! Weight Watchers Freestyle Chicken & Dumplings
Ingredients:
Rotisserie Chicken or shred about 1 LB of Chicken
2 - 32 oz Containers of Chicken Broth
2 Tsp Poultry Seasoning
1 Tsp Salt
Pepper to taste
2 Tsp Garlic Powder
1 15 oz Can White Beans/Great Northern Beans (Drained)
1 Cup Frozen Corn
1 Cup Frozen Peas
1 Cup Celery
1 and 1/2 Cups of Carrots
1/2 Cup Diced Onions
1 Cup Kodiak Pancake Mix
Directions:
Throw all ingredients except for "Corn, White Beans, and Kodiak Mix)
Open the white beans and drain.
Use a magic bullet, mixer or blender
Pour entire can of beans in your blender
Mix into a creamy consistency - (If the mixture is too thick add a few tablespoons of water and mix until smooth)
Pour entire mixture into the pot
Add 2 cups of water and mix well
Cover and bring to a boil
Throw in the cup of corn and turn down to simmer (about 15 minutes or when a fork goes right through the carrots )
Dumplings
Pour 1 Cup of Kodiak Pancake mix
Add 3/4 Cup of Water and mix them well
Turn Soup up to Medium/High
Once the Soup is boiling start scooping our "protein" Dumplings on top of the soup (don't worry if they are all mixed up and cover the entire top of soup
Boil covered for 15 minutes
Break apart and mix soup to make the dumplings spread out
Makes 9 Cups of Soup
Each Cup is only 1 Freestyle SmartPoint!

Ingredients:
Pillsbury Chocolate Fudge Family Size Brownie mix
2 Eggs
2/3 Cup Unsweetened Applesauce
1/4 Cup of plain water
2 tbsp Reese's Putter Chips
13x9 Baking Pan
Parchment paper if you want perfectly cute squares
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees
Pour all ingredients into a mixing bowl (except for the PB Chips)
Mix all ingredients well so there is no powder floating around
Once mixed, Pour ingredients into a 13x9 Baking pan lined with Parchment Paper
Now evenly pour 2TBSP on top of the brownie mix
Throw in Preheated Oven
Bake for approx 28-30 minutes
Let Brownies cool a bit and pick up the parchment paper with the Bownies still on there
Place 6on a cutting board
Cut 6 times vertically and 3 times
Makes 24 Brownies

WW Peanut Butter & Chocolate Sprinkle Bread Recipe
1 and 1/2 Cups of All Purpose Flour
3/4 Cup of Splenda
2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
3/4 Cup PB2
1 Tsp Cinnamon
2 Eggs
1 Cup Unsweetened Applesauce
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
2 TBSP Mini Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips (80 Calories per TBSP)
Put all wet ingredients in one bowl and all the dry in another bowl and mix well.
**Leave chocolate chips out for now
Combine dry and wet ingredients and mix
Pour into 9x5 Bread Loaf pan
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes
Remove Bread from Oven
Pour 2 TBSP of chocolate chips evenly on top
Cover with Aluminum foil and bake for 20 to 25 minutes
Toothpick should come out clean
Cut into 8 slices (slices are large and dense

No Bake 3 Layer Chocolate Dessert Recipe
Ingredients:
5 Sheets of Chocolate Graham Crackers
3 and 1/2 Cups of Unsweetened Almond Milk (Vanilla or Plain)
2 Cartons of Sugar Free Chocolate Fudge Pudding
1 Cup Cool Whip OREO Mix-ins
1 Casserole Dish (I used 11 by 7)
Directions:
Place 4 Sheets + 2 Crackers on the bottom of the dish
Mix Chocolate Fudge Pudding with a spoon to combine
Use a Mixer and blend for about 2 minutes until thick and fluffy
Pour the Fudge Pudding completely covering the Graham Crackers
Put Casserole in refrigerator or freezer 2 to 3 hours
Add Cool Whip Oreo Mix-ins and spread evenly on top of the pudding
Take 2 Crackers (half a sheet - See Video) and put in a ziplock bag and crush
Spread Chocolate Graham Crumbs all over the top
Cut into 12 large Slices
Each Slice is 3 WW Freestyle Points Each

New Recipe! Spinach & Cheese Tortellini Soup
Spinach & Cheese Tortellini Soup
Ingredients:4 cups Chicken Broth
4 (8oz) Cans Tomato Sauce (or two 15oz cans
1 (28 oz) can of Diced Tomato
1 Small onion - Diced
3 Garlic cloves -diced
1 Cup Unsweetened almond milk
3 Cups Fresh chopped spinach (chop before measuring)
2 Cups of Frozen Cheese Tortellini (Market Fresh is 7 Points per Cup
1 Cup Water
2 TSP Italian Seasoning
2 TSP Garlic Powder
1/2 TSP Salt
1/2 TSP Pepper
Directions:
Pam or Other Spray to coat the bottom of the pot
Once pan is heated on low, cook garlic and onions until translucent
Now add everything above except for the Almond Milk and Spinach
Cover and Cook on Medium until Soup comes to a rolling boil
Now turn down Soup to Medium and add Almond Milk and Spinach (Lightly Stir)
Let simmer another 3 to 5 minutes (until the Spinach is wilted)
Make 14 Cups

For added flavor you can put a Teaspoon of Parmesan Cheese

WW Protein & Fiber Packed Pumpkin Muffins
2 Cups Kodiak Buttermilk Pancake Mix
1 Egg
1/4 Cup Applesauce
1 Can Pure Pumpkin
1 TSP Baking Soda
2 TSP Ground Cinnamon
2 TSP Pumpkin Pie Spice
3/4 Cup Splenda or other sweetener
1/4 Water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Use Cupcake holders or spray with Pam
Pour all ingredients into a medium size bowl & mix well
Scoop the mixture evenly into each muffin tin
Bake for 16 to 18 minutes (tops will be lightly brown)
Enjoy! Each Muffin is 2 WW Freestyle Points

Delicious Cabbage Roll Soup
My son LOVES this!
CABBAGE SOUP RECIPE
48 oz Beef Broth
1 Pound 93% lean Ground Turkey
Four 8oz cans Tomato sauce or two 15oz cans
2 TBSP Lemon Juice
1 Head of Cabbage (about 8 cups) chopped
2 Cups of chopped carrots
1/4 Cup of Cooked Long Grain Rice
1/4 Cup of Diced Onion
2 TSP Garlic Powder
1 TSP Italian Seasoning
1/2 TSP Salt
Pepper to taste
Cook Ground Turkey Until browned (fully cooked)
Add Italian Seasoning and Garlic Powder
Add onion and cook until translucent
Now add all the other ingredients above except for the Lemon Juice
Bring Pot to a rolling boil and then turn it down in between Simmer and Medium
Let Soup Simmer for 30 to 45 minutes NOTE: You will know that the soup is done if you can stick a fork easily though the carrots
Now add ONE cup of water and 2 TBSP of Lemon Juice!
This recipe makes 15 (1 Cup Servings)
ENJOY!!!
***If you leave out the rice, this is an excellent low carb coup
***If you exchange the meat for 99% Fat Free the soup is zero points
